A new holiday and accommodation group has just been established in County Clare. The company named the Atlantis Holiday Group is based in Liscannor and is presently building its new profile both structurally and corporately.
The Atlantis Holiday Group comprises of a pub, hotels and other guest accommodation in Counties Clare and Kerry. In the coastal village of Liscannor the group is presently running the famed Joseph McHugh's pub and is now finishing the construction of the new Cliffs of Moher Hotel. The beautifully situated Ballyvara House in Doolin together with the Tír gan Éan House Hotel & Apartments and the Doolin Holiday Village are also part of the group. A new Music and Performance facility in Doolin is planned for development, which will also be marketed and developed by the company.
In County Kerry, the group have purchased the Smerwick Harbour Hotel, west of Dingle.
Paddy Maher, Group Development and Marketing Manager, will oversee the growth and profiling of the company into the future. He believes that new developments in the tourism products of County Clare and Kerry offer great opportunities for the sustained growth of the company. In particular he sees the company growing around the new visitor facilities at the Cliffs of Moher as well as other new visitor attractions opening throughout the west of Ireland.
The company launches itself into a very competitive market, however with growth expected in tourism this year, they believe the custom is out there for new quality products which offer great value for money.
